The large glass roof above The Crown’s slate and oak bar lets you sip a refreshing beverage beneath sun or starlight. Choose from a specially selected range of modern ales from the Meantime Brewery in London, including their mad-but-magical chocolate beer. Or, for a more traditional taste of the Suffolk coast, we’ll gladly pull you a pint of Adnams.
For those who prefer grapes to hops, The Crown has a terrific selection of international wines – with many available by the glass. Indeed, we’ve invested in specialist technology to ensure your glass of wine tastes as fresh as the day the bottle was opened.
Above the bar hangs a fascinating focal point: a Windermere Skiff. Once a regular sight on the River Deben in Woodbridge, this beautifully crafted boat is now a permanent resident at The Crown and acts as a respectful nod towards the nautical heritage of the area.
